CrossFit Waterloo’s Co-Founders and long time peers are Chris Vranes and Edwin Larin. Through the course of their lives, they have been intimately involved in a wide variety of fitness routines, athletics, and nutritional backgrounds before stumbling upon the teachings of CrossFit. They were intrigued by the methods of CrossFit and decided to train with this program and compare results to their previous experiences. It did not take long for the friends to realize how effective and efficient their newly found fitness regime was and they easily decided to make the trip to Arizona to get certified as CrossFit Trainers. Chris Vranes with a Program Management Engineering career and Edwin Larin with a Design Engineering career dropped what they were doing to pursue their passion… Fitness.
