Sunday Fundays at CrossFit Waterloo?

Hello All,

We have a few exciting announcements for everyone...

  • CFW Open 7 days a week?!  The community has spoken, and as per your request, we will be running 2 classes every Sunday starting in May.  We are still working on the time slots for these 2 classes, but it’s looking like 9:30 and 10:30 am is what we are leaning towards.  Please, as always keep your feedback coming and let us know what you think about those times!
  • Register Online for Classes a little later.  We have changed from a 6 hour in advance window to a 3 hour in advance window effective immediately.  So if you wake up at 2:59 am and can’t fall asleep, might as well sign up for a WOD at 6:00 am!
  • Summer schedule changes coming in May/June.  With the daylight lasting a little longer in the summer, and the temperatures dropping a little later, we will be getting rid of some of the 3:30pm classes and adding the 8:30pm classes back.  We have done this in the past and it seems to work for the better for most of you guys.  Specifically, in May we plan to drop 3:30 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, and in June we will add the 8:30 pm back on Mon – Wed.  There may be some other small changes to come.  If you guys have any issues with the proposed changes or if you have any suggestions to better our schedule please let us know as your opinions matter and are used to shape our schedule!
  • Competitors Class Makes its Return!  Many of you guys have expressed to us that you would like to see this class return so we will be bringing it back starting in May.  The class will be at 11:30 as it was before on Saturdays.  If you are interested in doing the CF Open in 2016 and would like some extra training this opportunity may be for you.  Now that there’s a scaled option in the Opens we will offer the extra help to anyone that’s interested.  From this class you can expect to do more work, get more instruction, and work in a competition setting once a week. It’s a great motivator to improve your attendance, efforts with your rest/diet, and commitment. If you are not sure if this is right for you or not ask Eddie or myself (Chris) if it’s something we would suggest you try out. In general if you have good mobility, do 50% or more of WOD’s as prescribed, and attend 4 or 5 classes per week regularly this may be the right thing for you.
